Texture question

i know if you remove the texture you get a very simple version of cham (everyone is white) well i was wondering if it is possible to EDIT the texture file to make the people all of a color that is easier spotted like blue or red or black.

i think you have to edit .rez files i would try but i can not find anything very useful on editing .rez files if you find anything plz post it hear
