How to hide ur hacks

First i am not sure if this works on windows vista (so can some1 on vista try this and tell me if it does).
Instructions:
1.Make a new folder name it 0160 while holding alt.
2.Then go to poperties>>customize>>and change icone>> and pick the blank space.
It should look like this when u r done.

so this will hide ur hacks? ok ill try it

it hides ur hacks on ur computor not on the game

Well thats wat i meant not ingame

Incase some1 team views u or watever

just letting you know.. this is like trying to hide from somebody by burying your head in the dirt... you only hide your vision - not theirs.

Since most of the hacks are being hidden in CA folder, the best thing to do is to make of it a hidden folder as you said. But still, they will be able to see it.

But hiding in System32 would be better because I dont think they'd look there. My point being that hide the hacks in a unrelated folder.

Trust me, they check every single folder in your C drive. Have you ever seen that folder with symbols in your My documents folder? (I know some of you have seen it). Well, that's CA related. There was a thread like 1 month ago about people wanting to sue nexon because they don't respect privacy and such...

I don't think hiding it in Sys32 folder would help, but you can try.

True, most people who teamview now use this program called "Everything"

Its an advanced search engine that ignores file properties and lists every program and app. and file on your computer.

Observe! (btw Culley is my room-mate, his computer XD)
I make a hidden folder (highlighted on desktop) and place a file inside

I use Everything, assuming I know the name of the hacks or file I can find it easy. It gives me the directory too.

Eumh sorry my fault , english is not my fisrt langauge so sometimes i just dotn know what are you talking about ~ anyway thanks legify , i thinked i have to write 0160 hold ctrl then properties. Oh and its work in vista 2 here a screenie:

Hold the ALT button (beside space bar) and type 0160 using the numpad.

It makes an invisible character (letter).

beside the = is a "space", really, that is the invisible character.

then would sticking your hacks in a encrypted usb would be okay ?

Good but still. Most of the hacks out there crash like 2 or 3 mins after the game starts. Even if you don't place the hack in your C drive, once a game crash, a CA log is being made in CA folder... and being sent to their servers.

thats why you clean up your CA folder before teamview, or just once your done playing (thats what i do)
