ok this is my mom and dads compputer and i do not want to mess it up how do i tap its a vista without messin it up and is it easy and unharmful.

On topic: To tap you need to unplug your eithernet cord and kill for up to 30ish seconds. then you replug in your eithernet cord.
Help thread buddy. Or do what katlyn said above.
