💡 Need help picking out c++ book

I want to buy a c++ book, but I don't know which one will be the best to learn about making game hacks. Example: Combat arms I need a book that is not too expensive and will get the job done. Also I believe that I will have to learn DirectX, can you guys let me know what books will help me out? Remember not too expensive
