Cracked Servers

Okay so I've seen a couple of posts about Cracked Servers for Rust. A couple of things I was wondering after I saw theses:
If VAC banned can I still play on these cracked servers?
How does one set up a Cracked Server?
And, will there be more in the future?
-terksss
p.s - Sorry if these are more dumb questions I just have a lot of questions about this whole situation.
Thanks

i don't think cracked server work in VAC because vac is a steam Protection
and when you play in the cracked server you don't need to use it
so it depend on the Owner he can ban you manual y
(This is what I think)

i make my server before it is easy all you need is the server file

Can't tell if this is discussing Piracy or not... Pretty sure all cracked servers endorse unlegit copies...
@Horror Can you confirm or am I just crazy?

Yes most cracked servers are ran so people with illegitimate copies of the game can play with each other.
