if everything goes smooth in testing (no problems arise) which I highly doubt it would be in 2 weeks for the stress test which is public until it gets full. That will last 1 week if no problems arise. So in total if there are absolutely no problems it will be 3 weeks.

But Riot has just stated "officially" that season 4 starts somewhere early in february. So there will be an update, does this mean that the bot will no long work?
If so, might it be better to wait for the season 4 patch?

It might stopping temporarily, in which case it is just a matter of getting the new pointers, so it should be up the same day the update occurs. Unless it is a dramatic change, like a completely new ui.

This is the greatest news I've heard in so long. I want to setup a referral bot so badly, but everything is outdated. So around early February I'll have to come back for this. I'm really looking forward to it.
