Memory is almost full!

Memory is almost full!
My memory card for my laptop is almost full. I know I can format my laptop but then I would lose Microsoft Word and other important things. I tried to go to "Uninstall or remove program" from the control panel but it has no use. Any ideas on how I can free up some space?

You can save it all on a flash drive.. or you can defragment the disk

Download some hard drive space.

In all seriousness, clean out any old stuff you don't need or use anymore.

I think what HeroicXPharaoh said is the best. I have an external hard drive. But when I move everything there, from where should I find the folders. Are they in C:/ ?

C:/, Documents, Everything you think you need after the sweep.

I could be wrong though.

Will it like destroy my laptop because I am afraid that if I move something that is essential to my laptop, then it won't start up or won't function correctly again.

Defragments have nothing to do with memory ... Baidu PC Faster releases the memory.

Yes , It has gaming mode to release the memory , disable many things that is useless while playing and also cleans your PC.

Right click whatever drive it is and then go into properties. Then select the "Disk Cleanup" option. From there, select the "Cleanup System Files" or whatever it is. Something like that.

Then select all the files you want to delete/cleanup It should free up a good amount of space.
