If they're excused no. On the other hand, if they're unexcused probably. Depends on where you are though.
I have missed 10 days total and my mom said that she will be getting questioned on why I wasn't at school. All my absences are excused.
in Australia (the area where i'm at), if you are away a text gets sent to your parents, and they follow it up if your parents dont respond
It seems only logical if they're unexcused. We don't send to court though. Only if the school can't contact the student.
