Sweet, thanks! Ill post what I had in mind soon
My thoughts...
[5:02:45 AM] brandon kohut: mobo, cpu, case , psu, cooler and ram all fine
[5:05:21 AM] brandon kohut: the storage I wouldnt buy an SSD just to put windows on it even though it runs smoother and faster and cant really "break" like ordinary HDD's its much much more expensive you can get 2TB+ for that one 120SSD(its a block pretty much without little discs that spin in an ordinary PC, thus losing alot of problems relating to the OS since it wont break
[5:05:50 AM] brandon kohut: WD is a nice brand but a cheaper and aslong as your not throwing the hdd itself you can look into seagate
[5:06:25 AM] brandon kohut: I have 4TB's from them not a problem. My friend on the other hand who ordered his gaming PC got 4 broken ones from the company he ordered them from who knows!
[5:07:51 AM] brandon kohut: and the Video cards.. 770 is nice 780TI better!! but expensive if you want top of the line Gtx 690 or 780TI... Hopefully its not 1,000 by then lol. the 280X is by amd so amd graphics run better on amd games like... BF4
Intel Core i5 - 4670/K - Depending if you want to overclock or not, I would suggest you stick with i5- 4670 and save around $30~
MSI Z87 - G45 - No doubt one of the best gaming motherboard IMO
Corsair 8GB (2 x 4GB 1666) - 8GB is the sweet spot for gaming
WD Caviar Blue 1TB - Reliable (You can upgrade to 2TB if necessary)
EVA GTX 780 3GB (03G-P4-2784-KR) - A pretty decent card for price vs performance (not 100% sure about this one, other may have different opinions)
Corsair 200R - It's preference really but this case is pretty good IMO.
Corsair CX 500W 80+ Bronze - I'm pretty sure this should be enough to power it but you may want to check with someone else
Windows 8 64 BIT - Windows 8 has been proven to give SLIGHT performances in games.. (also futureproofing..)
Cost
i5 4670 - $220 (Newegg)
MSI z87 - G45 - $160 (Newegg)
Corsair 8GB - $85 (Newegg)
WD 1TB Blue - $71 (Amazon)
EVGA GTX 780 - $500 (Newegg)
Corsair 200R - $ 60 (Newegg)
Corsair CX 500W - $40 (Newegg)
Windows 8 - $110 (Amazon) - You can probably get it somewhere else cheaper other than amazon or newegg. You may also get it for free through some 'methods'
I would also suggest you get a SSD if you save on windows or for future upgrades..
