The game engine I wrote in Flash was not only structured completely differently, but it lacked a lot of features this one doesn't. I.e actual collision testing. Instead of hit-tests with square objects. I only drop a project when everything to benifit in it has been gained, and there is nothing left. The flash game(and flash it self IMHO) wasn't\isn't structured well enough to work an MMORPG off of, or is structured too differently then what I am used to. The engine I wrote in flash doesn't even count.
As far as me giving up on the engine half-way-through. I admit there are a couple bugs in the engine itself, however it only requires a little tweaking to have them fixed, which may be even less then one line, maybe just a couple alterations in the code. All the UI components I'd ever need have been written, and like said above, only tweaking is required to give them a fancy design. I stopped working on projects because up-until this point I've regretted a design on a certain part of the engine, after doing it several times, I have what I want. This still has much more in it, and I won't stop working on it until it has nothing to gain from.
And @Obama, "NO MY PC WAS WORKING FINE?!?!?!"
