Mod Selector Help

on the gif it looks like you're running the java file itself and not the bat, try opening modselector.bat instead of .jar maybe?

also in cmd what does typing "java -version" give you

Is your windows 8 64 bit? If it is, try installing the 64 bit version along with the 32 bit version if you haven't already. I'm not sure what's wrong tho because 19.5.1 opens but not that one. Maybe the mod selector doesn't like you updating it lol.

Since the 19.5 one is fully functional (yes?) could it be some sort of permissions error w/ Windows 8 and your user account.

You have the 20.0 folder in your Documents folder, the 19.5 in the Downloads (which generally has full read/write access).


Cut/paste the 20.0 folder from its current location to the same place as the 19.5 and see if it works. If it does, good luck figuring out why a User directory like My Documents doesn't have full permissions, that's fucked.

Your console can't find the java exe. Make sure your path is correct because whatever you did isn't.

First of all, make sure that there is a java.exe in the folder listed in your user path variable. If it isn't there, you know what the problem is.

If it's still fucked, system path variable looks good...



I don't know too much about how these system variables behave. Are the variables case sensitive (in which case PATH != Path)?
