Alright guys so I have a high school musical play thing and i'm supposed to sing.

I thought you guys could give me some advice as I don't really wanna mess things up

Anyways , here is the snip of the song i'm supposed to sing. ( Say Something - A Great Big World )

The only help I can give is be confident, you don't want to mess things up because you get a little nervous. Just stay focused and you'll do fine.

Step 1: Don't sing that shitty song
Step 2: Bring out the instruments and play this

Step 3: If someone complains bitch slap them

Sounds like you're singing from your head the whole time, try singing with your diaphragm so you project your voice more. It doesn't seem like you have a naturally loud voice so you're probably going to have to try keeping your back as straight as possible so your air flows better. I'm not a great singer myself, but I used to be in choir so I at least know the basics. Also, the more confident you are, the louder you can be.
