You are right, cheating will get you banned eventually, so if you cheat on arma 3, expect to be banned at some point. If you have a private cheat (not released in public) then you can expect to go months without a detection, I've been using the latter and I'm now into my 3rd month without a global ban.

You cannot get banned for scripting in Arma 3. however, you CAN get banned when you execute the script, this would usually be because battleye has detected your hacks. So for example, if someone were to injection you remotely via the server (like we are doing just now) you would literally never get global banned, not in a million years, but if you inject yourself, you could be banned in 24 hours if your using a detected hack.

So to cut a long story short, you can use any script without being banned, but your method of injection must be undetected!!!
You can't even get server side banned unless an admin finds out, they are fully undetected via bypass/script exe
