Ok, so you are saying my programming skills are the reason java is bad?
I'm just saying that I think that if you are saying java is bad then you don't know about how powerful it is.

Java can be a corporate language.
Pure ANSI C or C++, C# on Mono, Common Lisp, Javascript on Node.js, Ruby, Python, even Fortran run on both platforms, and many more languages.
Java is shit, and there is no excuse for that.
However, the JVM isn't *too* bad - look at Scala.

Saying that Java is good because it works on all platforms is like saying anal sex is good because it works on all genders.
Java is a pain in the butt, once you code a Game or such, you want to fix a bug, and you get another bug. C#, C++, C or even Assembly is way better than Java.
just sayin'
Ok well continue to live in your world of opinions. You guys are extremely ignorant.
Back to programming.
Oh btw, defending Java with the sole reason being Java is the only language you know makes you a bad programmer. Extend your horizon if you want to become a good one, if not, you're not a programmer and you should stop arguing.
If a langage doesnt fit your needs, find workarounds or try another and stop those pointless langage wars..
There are drawbacks and fails in all langages.
As long as your program is working, with reasoneable performances and is easy to maintain, who cares?
Also, dont expect your favorite langage to be the ideal langage for all tasks.
("Let's use Java for artificial intelligence instead of Lisp")
Final troll : *cough*rotmg proxies *cough* endian no pb in Java *cough* had to reverse byte order in c#
Not saying Java 's way is good but its similar to the one we want.
