Gris' 'Il était une forêt...' is one of the only other albums that have hit me as hard.

Fucker beat me to it. Hospice is definitely one of the most moving albums I've listened to.

Anyways, in terms of metal the following are my some of my favs.

It would take me too long to decide on my absolute favourite, so they're just some that come to mind when I think of albums I keep going back to.
