Everytime I start pressing X and going up I keep falling down is there any tips/hints that can help me?

Hold X.
If you let off of it and dont press ANYTHING then you should stay in that spot. However, if you glitch to a spot, let off of X and then then try to move freely, you will fall.

Yea Like Demon Said just HOLD X. i only tap X when i wanna get halfway into a glitch.
Oh yea, forgot about that, thanks Satin, i meant to add in my last post of the height By time part of this, you can only go so high, for so long, but you can stop on roof and then go up even higher.

Just had the same problem you did with falling.
I think it also happens if you try to go to high for too long. Just do what i said and you should be fine.
