Global banned for using dupe method in dayz epoch?

I used the duping method posted here where you turn off your internet and put your bag in a vehicle, and am now global banned.
I have NOT used any hack on dayz, ever. Only thing I did out of the ordinary besides duping last night was run the team speak overlay Overwolf, which is not a hack.

Can you get global banned for using this dupe method?

I heard that overwolf can cause some games to ban you because they think it's a hack, I doubt it's the dupe method.

Thanks alot for the reply! I emailed battleye support, do you have any idea how long it could take for them to unban me if it truly was overwolf?

Anytime, and I have heard that BE isn't very nice with banned customers, so best of luck to yourself. It could take up to maybe a week, you can't be banned for a dupe method so the only thing I could think of is the overwolf.
