You mean people REQUEST money by sending a INVOICE,
and sellers think the payment is done? O.o

Wow.

Ok this is what i do, and some of you might be interested,
I request one and ALL buyers to make a payment by Friend/Relative option (GIFT method).
Why gift?
1, It has no easy way of calling cancelling the payment.
2, There are minimum charges on this.

So, i ask all buyers to....
Send as friend/ relative option, and on 2nd page notes box say:
I RECEIVED ALL GAME ITEMS, I WILL NOT CHARGE BACK, THANKS

If someone tries to be smart and send the money as gift, without the received items message... i will refund his money. (i lose nothing)
This means someone has the intention of charging back and i will not sell without the received items message.

After loosing too many payments due to charge backs, i learnt it the hard way,
ITS BETTER TO NOT SELL... THEN SELL SOMETHING AND LOSE THE MONEY LATER.

This only works if it's a payment straight from the person's paypal balance.
You CANNOT prevent a charge back if the payment was funded by credit card.
You can send by gift as you say with the note saying ''x x x'', if it was sent from a credit card, it can always be charged back (even months later) if the person informs his card issuer giving whatever reason.

So I suggest to make sure that people send money from their paypal balance (make them screenshot their balance and their payment page after).
If it is funded by a credit card, there's 90% (or even more) chance it's a scam and they will eventually charge back.

Too many "Gift" payments will fuck up your PayPal down the road.
PayPal will lock your account on suspicion of escaping fees.
Depending on how many transaction you do, this may or may not apply to you.
Was wondering if I can post a warning here? A mpgh user tried to invoice scam me when I was selling some life pots. Just not sure what is acceptable in this situation.
