The way they are currently banning is with HWID bans. There is a HWID for pretty much every piece of hardware in your computer. The most likely origin of the HWID ban is your HD. There are a couple ways to remove a HWID ban: figure out which component is being tracked and replace it with a new one. If the ban is located in the HD it could be possible to change the HWID by reinstalling windows this can sometimes reassign it.
