Minecraft

Is anyone here running minecraft on Linux? I recently did a complete wipe of my PC and switched to Ubuntu Linux, and minecraft runs a lot slower..
Does anyone else have this problem? I get roughly 16 FPS with 8GB RAM, i5 2.7GHz quad core, granted, I do have Intel intigrated graphics, but it ran faster before.

I got curious so I booted into my Ubuntu partition. I also got a bit lower frame rate than on Windows. Might be drivers not fully compatible with Ubuntu?

Not sure. I've never tryed Ubuntu or Linux

I'm not sure if this works on Linux, but you can allocate part of your ram toward Minecraft.
