[Solved] "Failed to download Version.ini"

"Failed to download Version.ini"

So I just fixed this problem last night, and now i'm getting the error once again. My "version" file keeps getting erased and even when I paste the information in, it still gets erased. I have even done the whole "C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc" and erased whatever was in that folder. I have no idea why I keep getting this error, but it's pretty damn annoying.

uninstall cf.

delete your cf directory. C:/program files x86/z8games

redownload the setup

reinstall cf

start from patcher_cf.exe from your cf folder.

if that doesn't work then idk

@FailFish, I did that same exact thing last night, which didn't help. And when I opened my CF folder, it didn't even download the major folders such as Xtrap and HGWC. I had to have a friend manually send them to me, which is how I fixed it last night.

if it fixed last night, then tell your friend to give you the xtrap and hgwc folders daily until the next maintenance or so. (that's when the patcher should update your folders)

Sadly, yes. It's pretty annoying at this point. I keep saving the info into my folder, but it keeps disappearing.
