Well everyone must know by now that mojang is being bought by Microsoft. I was wondering what your all's opinions were. Do you think performance will drop or increase? Will Microsoft kill cobalt and scrolls? Tell me what you think here.

Oof, I didn't know that. I honestly think the creativity overall will go down. Indie games tend to be more personal to the developers, but with a large company like Microsoft? Don't know.

Check other threads. They have links to see the post from mojang.

Maybe microsoft will optimize minecraft but its the same game and everything if they change they will lose a lot of users

This will lower the demand in the MC selling section.

I hope so.

Minecraft doesnt work on my PC anymore, so doesnt really affect me haha. getting ready for that mc dlc

One thing is for sure, they will definitely monetize the game more, especially after shelling out $2.5 billion.

Minecraft has been crap for a while in my opinion. I barely play it anymore.
