I'm not sure what they will do. At first I thought that it would ruin the game but after thinking a while, I realized that they do own the Xbox meaning that they have gaming experience. It is really hard to decide whether this will be better or worse for the Minecraft community haha.
In my opinion, 1.8 is terrible. The old minecraft was great, not many hackers, so many exploits. I so hope they don't ruin it, and so hope they don't add something to stop modded clients and stuff.
