The linework on the render looks decent, some of it could use a little brushing up on. Everything seems way too sharp, and overall quality seems to be a bit low.
Other than that, it just feels empty.

Thanks man.. Yeah its a new style i've been trying to master.. and i hate the text too
thats why on my DA i put it without.i wasn't sure what else to put in the background.

Btw, as for the background, go for your usual works, but also implement those sharp lines on the render. However, you must pay attention to the blending.
A cool thing you can do is to have those lines "interact" with the background.
One sweet example would have having a background with any source of liquid (lake,sea,etc) then having those lines really close to it and having them to "dissolve" into it (just like putting a dirty brush into a cup of water).
I'd be curious how your wall-e image (page 3 of your DA) would look if you added this style in it. (and removed the topaz)
P.s. I'm interested in the image purely for how those lines look, the general composition of the image is lacking a little.

Me for example, my imagery is desaturated, filled with contrast and if anything it's somber and tilting towards horror and macabre.

In this case, I see lots of elements I've seen before. Does that mean it's bad? No. Does that mean it's unique and his own style? Also no.

I just think that the proper way of rating someones works is subjective. Vision, originality, technique and impact.
Which then again is rated by its viewer, so it will come out differently almost every time.
False, a style is simply a way of doing something.
Be it yours or somebody else's, it doesn't matter as a style isn't tied to its former owner.
