it's not that it would be detected, it would be that they can't steal your code. the extra parameter to specify the source is just an extra benefit that would allow you to fake the source.

either way it is detected - i never said that is what is going to get it detected.

plus iirc lua source is only 60 max so it will only be able to steal the first 60 bytes of your file

you're thinking of short_src. source is unlimited.

Ohh did not know that was what you meant.. In gdaap i overwrite debug.getinfo before autorun to get the same effect.. But thanks for the info about loadbuffer.. I will change gdaap and this to use that instead then
