Revive Newsforce

So yeah we need something new and interesting again , I was abscent when Newsforce died or fall apart but we can pretty much revive it and update the main page like every week instead of every year .
Unless I'm missing the reason why it fall apart or got shutdown

Any one up for this ?

I would like to help.

The group itself was taken down.
The team was dead so there were no reason to keep it.

I have nonpower to do anything at all , just wanted to bring it hp back . If we have it back then we start to recruit.

I was away when it happened too, it would be nice to have it back.

Someone tried to revive it some time after it got taken down and I'm pretty sure dave approved of it but haven't heard a word from them since..

If this gets approved then I'm up to it. I will try to recruit active people based on their activity.

Bringing back the NewsFo would be useless.
I was the most recent owner of the NewsFo. There were multiple reasons as to why it died, but ultimately it made me realize that having a newsfo would just be a waste of time.
It was a hassle running that shit every week. People would just stop giving articles and would disappear off the face of the earth. You'd have everyone turn their shit in a day early, only to realize you have a few hours before the weekly thread and you're missing 4 articles. And I mean shit, you can't just kick them out, because making a "RECRUIT FOR NEWSFO THREAD" every week is almost a waste of time at a certain point. Mind you, lack of articles isn't the only reason why it died, just one of the many.

But shit, if you ever need a writer I'm down. Pretty much anyone in the old newsfo can vouch that I never miss articles, and my writing is pretty good.

Good point. But also having news updated weekly > not having any at all .
If they let me recruit members I'll have no problem to create application threads when a member gets unactive.
