New style?
Pretty minimalist, I don't even know what I was doing. Like 5 layers, only brushes used. Noobish hallmarks, but noob tools and an artistic eye can create some cool effects.

shows how easily the eye is appealed by negative space as well as positive, the tactic i've been using recently, in my current sig too.
