Honestly recording software can only do so well based on your specs. If you are experiencing lag with all recording programs, try upgrading your pc, or just buy a capture card and record console gaming. Just a suggestion o3o

I also recommend at least 6GBs of ram, that is plenty and you don't really need anymore than that unless you are streaming. If you have the money, I would also think about picking up a Nvidia GPU, like a 780 at least.

Also, I didn't say Intel was the best for everything. I simply said, its the way to go when it comes to Desktops. I am unsure where you are getting that I do or do not have experience in "everything" as I never said that either. I have used ATI GPUs and AMD processors previous to my switch to Intel and Nvidia, I was simply just saying that ATI/AMD is no longer a preference of mine.
