Try to restart the computer.
MAking sure that the Hshield folder is still replaced.

That could be it too.

I extracted the rar file and removed the regular hshield folder onto another folder
then I placed the "hacked" hshied into combat arms and I run as administrator. An error pops up saying failed to update protection modules.

do this it totally works. i use shithack all the time now

Seems many are getting this error. Remember guys that HS updates itself. So whatever files were "hacked or modified" within the folder will be replaced when HS updates. For that reason it may not work or may create errors like this. It's unfortunate but I don't know a fix for it.
