HelpHow do you make a Private Server?

Hello everyone, I was just wondering if someone can help explain to me on how I can make a private server. There are no tutorials and I have no where to start so if someone can help me, that was be fantastic! (Your help can be for either Hamachi or VPS but mainly looking for Hamachi)
