Queuing with us will only slow down the process since it will be lowering the average ELO of the team. It is mutually beneficial for us to simply play on the account since it both increases the ELO from performance and decreases the time we would need to be playing to get a desired amount of wins or rank.
There is ZERO risk of getting your items scammed/stolen if you have SteamGuard and email trade confirmations enabled. In addition, since we are going to be accessing from what Steam will see as a 'New Device', we wouldn't be able to trade anything for 7 days anyways.
