Hashchanger does rat shit for your protection, not even worth using it.

Meh, prevents you from being instantly banned, gets you an extra day or so.
When using public hacks, you are NEVER safe. If you use a public hack that is either too popular or too old (3 days) you are probably fucked. Don't use public hacks on your main. Some people are smart with public hacks and don't get banned. Also, VAC ban "waves" are pretty much a death sentence to all public hacks and large private suppliers.

No, you have missed the point completely.
haschanger does NOTHING (if you still dont understand NOTHING)
It litterally does nothing but change the hash, which is like changing 1 byte of the live memory, while everything else is still 100% same.

I remember a point when, if valve added a hack to the blacklist, all those with same hashes got banned. Is that not case anymore?

You probably heard that from some1 who was talking shit
Merccy made a good thread about it some time ago, which explains everything very nicely
Wow! Thanks! I tried making a post like that but it got taken down. Personally, I usually dont use public, so I don't need all this but its nice. So VAC was reworked alot for csgo huh. In tf2 lmaobox was never detected lol.
