As mentioned in the website above, TeamWork is a free open-source collaboration software. What is does is pretty simple:

1. Let's you create and edit your sofwares in real time.
2. Allows you to connect with other developers to build and sharpen your software capabilities.

As simple as that, it's just like Microsoft Team Foundation or GitHub, but is more a community-software rather than a version management or an online repo. At this state TeamWork comes with a client (not yet fully completed) and a dedicated server so you can host your project in your local machine.

What TW can do actually is:

1. Create a project and host it online from your local machine.
2. Allows you to connect and share your projects with other team mates.
3. Submit code updates and review other updates made by your friends.
4. Log/Register to a server.
5. Chat with your team mates in real time.
6. Etc
