I'm here to report NormenJaydenFBI for giving me infractions based on rules that don't exist. I got two infractions; one for bumping someone else's thread and the other one for bumping my thread.
If you look at the rules, it says NOTHING about bumping someone else's thread. For the second infraction, I bumped my thread by typing (Daily Bump). I was not aware of this rule:
(You are only allowed to bump your thread after 24 hours have passed since the last post, violating this will lead to a post deletion and a warning. Violating more than once will lead to an INFRACTION. Bumping is not considered just "Bump" but is also considered irrelevant posts to get your thread to the top of the page, such as "Back online and selling!", "Restocked!". Responding to questions on your thread, asking a minion to update your thread are all significant posts and can be made at any time.)
I should have been warned instead of an automatic infraction. I am still new to MPGH and I find it uncalled for a VERY recently promoted moderator to be giving out infractions willy-nilly. I think he should be talked to and my infractions removed. My encounters with other moderators were very smooth and if I broke a minor rule I was ignorant of they would help fix what I did wrong. Moderators should HELP the community.
But don't you think that you should've read the rules before posting? I think this is sort of your fault. It could have easily been avoided if you'd have read the rules.
While yes, I do agree that Normen shouldn't have given you an infraction. But on the other hand, part of signing up for this site, is the fact that you checked off that you read the rules.
Just my $0.02.

You were given a warning on 06-03-2015 for bumping an old thread. On 06-08-2015 you broke the same rule which was the reason that you were given an infraction.
If you bothered reading the rules from the beginning, you would've known that bumping old threads is actually a rule, which says "No bumping dead threads for no important reason." - Leaving the rule in the sticky which you mentioned in your post.
Being ignorant of a rule is not a valid excuse. So yea, they are both valid.

The thread was new and the reason was because I was still selling.
My bad I thought both were infractions because they were both under "Infractions".
Also that rule was not the reason I was punished.
This was: Bumping Threads or Posting in a Thread Older Than 30 Days
But you are allowed to bump threads so it doesn't make sense and I didn't bump a dead thread/older than 30 day thread.

In the Infraction/Warning PM that you get it tells you to read all of the rules over again. You really have no excuse since after one, you should have familiarized yourself with the rules. Especially ones regarding your offence, which you repeated.
