Help?

i've been trying to make a dedication gun skin for my Scar-L trispear and want some suggestions in colours for it..

and plus i tried colouring my gun black then writing on top of the black 12/01/09 RIP and it came out gray in game... i did add a layer, convert it back, zip it up using winrez, replaced old GUNS_T_PV_AR with the new one.. and i have no clue why it came up the way it did..

umm i dont think any of us has a trident so we wont be able to test..how bout looking at liquidforce's guide!

i have but i keep getting the gray gun...

I have no idea why >_<

i added new layer and coloured it black then on it wrote in blue.. can i not do that? what the hell did i do wrong? 0.o;;
