Spigot plugins work on bukkit server and bukkit plugins work of spigot. Vice versa (usually, like 99% of the time).

not familiar to mine craft's server yeah its my first time running a mc servers

I think you should familiarise yourself with servers before you even consider a custom plugin/dev. You are jumping into the deep end without knowing how to swim.

yeah thats why i m hiring someone to be my server dev instead of me being one

Are you hiring a custom coder (makes plugins) or a system administrator (handles all server files, its configuration etc)? If you are looking for a systems administrator, I may be of service.

Splitting profit isn't really how its done. I can manage your server (file wise), but I'd never agree upon splitting profits. I'd be happy to help for an hourly fee.
