Do not change your level up or down or u be banned as R* new update 1.28 can detect all hacks and what they thats why they a lagging online as it sending and receiving stats all the time what you do like Big Brother watching every move you make so an answer to you question if u wanna get your level down delete your character and start again and don't cheat your level up again or spawn money or u be banned permanent.

Just change the level back to something else lower.

Downgrade to 1.24 and use GTAForce 2.5.1. You can choose between level 1 and 9999.
Once you have change you level, come back to 1.28.

it's not bullshit just try hacking and u will get banned maybe not straight away but you will get banned forever and GTAV be free of idiot modders after easy money if your like this in a game wonder what your all like in real life

Those who say they not banned your time will come just remember the world is a big place can't do everyone at once but you will get banned if you mod and will for sure get banned going into public lobbies with mods in your GTAV folder.

What you said in your first post, actually it is bullshit.

The lag is due to the new content added to the game, it's a huge game that uses a lot of resources of your PC, Rockstar stated that the release of the game for PC was delayed so many times because they were making tweaks so the game had the best performance possible, and it did, in the release of it. With the patches, the performance got worst, now it lags when you reach 5 stars. Downgrade to 1.24 and check it for yourself, reach 5 stars there in (Single player/online), and there will be no lag, then do it in 1.28 and you will tell the difference.
When you add or change something in software, even if you fix a bug, you can create a bigger problem in the program.

The permanent ban it's for a severe offense to the terms of use of the game, not for a level mod.

Everyone here knows that they will get banned at some point, those who didn't know, are already banned.
