When do cheats get detected?

Like, do cheats get detected after CS:GO updates (Which I think happens) I've been wondering for a while and I really want to know now

It can happen without any one knowing there does not need to be an update to detect hacks.

Awh that's too bad, I hoped for it to be detected once CS:GO updates, it would be easier to cheat :/

Well (Un)fortunately, Valve takes cheating very seriously and has a pretty good anti-cheat measures in place. And it catches up to everyone eventually.

To be fair, vac is terrible and anyone that thinks otherwise is stupid. Although you can never really know when your cheat is gonna be detected. So its just a matter of time before it eventually catches up to you.

If it would be good it would prevent you from activating glow when you are not a spectator, it would prevent you to get the enemys position when you dont see him and are not a spectator aswell, it would prevent you from so much. But in reality, it scans for signatures. LoL

CS:GO updates have nothing to do with VAC updates. //Solved.
