Major Computer Issue

So this has been going on for a long time, and it has gotten so bad that I now must seek help.

So basically the keyboard and mouse refuse to respond. Now, let me explain.

Occasionally throughout the day my mouse and/or my keyboard will rapidly refuse/lock in my input. What I mean by that is if I'm moving my mouse around, it will rapidly freeze and then continue moving in the direction I'm moving it. Now, this freezing happens multiple times, and it makes it look like a slide show when it goes across my screen. Now, this is not screen lag. I can be watching a video and the video still plays like normal.

As for my keyboard, that is much worse. At times it will either stop responding or lock in my last input. What I mean by that is if I'm typing a sentence, it might get stuck on a random letter like this: "I like to drive carrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..." and it will continue to hold that key for several seconds. This also happens with spacebar and backspace, leading to some horrid results especially if I'm typing a lot.

This is literally going to drive me insane, at times my computer is even completely unusable for minutes, sometimes 10-15 and this happens multiple times (5+) daily.

Added info:

It is not my CPU/RAM overloading, as I have checked my usage at exactly the same time as these freezes.
It is not a video/peripheral driver as mine are entirely up to date.

Has anyone else ever had this issue, and if so how can I fix it?

My keyboard used to do the same thing with "H" but it dosent anymore, i took all the keys out and cleaned it. If that dosent work
Try going to someone that fixes computer, not someone who works with it as a job maybe just someone you know that does it for cheap

Trying to fix it by Google / YouTube will just be troublesome

Try to turn it off and back on again. If that doesn't work, scream at your parents to buy you a new one, or threaten to run away and let DaQuan get you pregnant. Trust me, I'm an Apple Genius.

It's not dirty, and that wouldn't explain my mouse issues.

I am studying computer/server repair in school and I have tried literally everything I have already learned with no results. Cleaning them, cleaning the USB ports, even replacing my mouse completely. No results.

Great advice, but since I'm nearly an adult I pay for my own computer parts.

Great advice, but since I'm nearly an adult I pay for my own computer parts.

Just SE a nice computer or laptop from MPGH user services. Seems like your current one is bust.

Connect keyboard and mouse to other computer to make sure issue isnt with them but the pc

additionally try to change USB ports from usb2 to usb3 this fixes some issues for people

if its the computer and the rest is working reinstall windows and hope its fixed. if its not its your motherboard taking a massive dump

reset your computer done.

Try upgrading your drivers or restore your computer to a time before it started fucking up

That or delete some of that torture porn of yours

for the keyboard here's what you have to do, First you need to get some stuff : Q-tips and Alcohol / Perfume And a knife
get the knife and pop out all of your keys on the keyboard or the ones that just lag and Clean them all
90% it won't do that again, I had this issue and when I cleaned the keys it worked fine they were sticking because of the sticky dirt inside them @Raple

It's defenitly your computer not having enough CPU avaible, locking in into your inputs since it doesn't detect you released the key. Try having almost no programs running and try to make your issue happen. If your keys don't get stuck while typing like for example in notepad with all other programs closed, then it's defenitly an issue with your CPU.

4.0GHz overclocked, 3.6GHz standard. 28 GBs of RAM.

CPU doesn't directly effect how your keyboard/mouse works. I only said that because if your CPU would be overloading it means your entire computer is crashing, which would cause everything to freeze. That was in fact the first thing I checked, my CPU.

Try to reinstall your operating system or do a system restore to a past date where your shit worked correctly.

Well somehow you have (U)AM loss and keys aren't registering properly. Only thing i can suggest is re-installing Windows

This happened to me before, After several troubleshootings i've figuered out a fix. i can not guarantee that this will work for you, it might be a different issue that you're facing

Go to Device Manager and uninstall all Keyboard & mouse drivers

Restart your computer and leave it on and connected to a network.

this actually worked for me but you may want to try, i hope it works
