I'm taking strength training at my class as well. It's a really fun class so far and everyone in my class that took it last year seemed to like it too. They also help out those new to the class including myself. Honestly, you may hate it now but after a few months and you start to lose weight and get toned, you'll find that all the work is indeed worth something. Everyone starts out at a certain area too. I do mean everyone. Not everybody can bench 150 pounds right off the bat. You need to gradually work to whatever goal you're trying to reach. Get plenty of rest and eat a lot of healthy foods that have a ton of vitamins, protein, carbs for energy, etc, and you'll be fine.
