People can become unconscious of their environment easily. It's not so unrealistic to think someone would do something like this, emotions, 'morals' none of this necessarily is being acknowledged more so than other things. There are people who would do this, therefor technology and car industry should be working harder on resolving these type of issues, this would assure safety and ignorant people like this, could leave their kid in the car without the car heating up while the child is safe... hopefully.
