New Phone, What to Choose?

As the title says. I'm only choosing Android. I was hoping to get the Nexus 5, but then Samsung is going to have some new event called the Unpacked 5 on February 24th in Barcelona, Spain. The suspicious part is the 5 in the event name, along with the 5 on the invitation. Most likely the Galaxy S5 will be shown during this event. I mean, a similar Unpacked event last year was when the S4 was released. But now I just don't know what to choose. Should I wait for the Samsung event and see what they have or get the Nexus 5?

I'm personally waiting for the S5 (from iPhone 4S). That way, if I decide I don't want the S5, I can either choose the N5 or get the S4 for a cheaper price. Plus, it's only a few weeks away. Unless you are in absolute need for a phone, then I'd wait.

My Dad has the Nexus 5, it's actually really nice and very fast. I'd go with that.

Really? I have a friend who has an S4 and uses it moderately everyday. The battery lasts him about 2-3 days before he needs to charge.

I had the Nexus 5 for a couple days, then it was taken away.

But with the few days I had with it, I thought it was really good. Really fast.

But I find one fault with the phone, it takes Forever to charge...

TBH, I am in need of a new phone, really soon. My parents are freaking out from time to time cause I still have to call them after I leave school. Anyways, I think it'll be the Nexus 5. Though it's a bit difficult to root.
