First off I know that Islam is a religion, not a race (couldn't find another word).
Considering the 1400 years of intolerance and vitriol and your perspective. No matter how I prove it to you, or anyone else does, you still won't be convinced. Having a thought stuck in mind means that you're not open to accepting another or denying the one you firmly grasp. People who hate Jews for no reason will never change their feelings towards them no matter what they do. My dad happens to be racist against Pakistanis and Bengalis. Most of my best friends are Pakis and Bengalis. Every time I try to explain to him what good they did to me and how I've never seen anything bad from them, his perspective won't change. Same case as you and most people like you whether they hate or support Islam. Having an open mind isn't a common thing.

Race isn't something you can change, and I don't judge people for who they are, but by their choices. If someone chooses to associate themselves with an International plague; singly responsible for some of the deadliest of the world's conflicts, a culture of intolerance and vitriol, and 1,400 years of violence and war, I'm not going to respect them.
