Quick Summary

So.. I'm headed back to the states today/ I've been stationed in germany since July of last year.. give or take a month or two. I have paid absolutely no attention to what the fuck has happened. All I know about the states in the last year.. is apparently an ebola freakout or some stupid shit. So, would anybody mind giving me a quick summary as to what the hell has happened?

deadly virus shit that killed a bunch of afircans

some kid who tried killing a cop and got killed instead, but apparently it was "police brutality"
