Duping method 0.54 update

Theres a dupe method already on here but im giving it a update.

For this dupe you need the following.
A friend that will help.
A anything that can go in your hands.

This are the following steps! ( For melee + Guns )
1. Put the item you want to dupe in you're hands.
2. Start performing an action like eating/bandaging/wring out clothes
3. When you do this you're gun or melee should drop.
4. Tell your friend to pick it up with the 'Put (ITEM) in your hands' option
5. Wait for the eating/bandaging/wring out clothes to end.
6. If its right you both have the same item.
7. now both logout and rejoin the server.
8. Now you have duped your melee/gun

You can do same way but with items, just put it in a protector case the item you want to dupe.
(WARNING: Fill your inventory so you dont grab the protecor case in your inventory YOU NEED TO GRAB IT IN YOUR HANDS!

Nice dupe method! Working 100%!

This works really well if you put a fireplace kit inside a protector case! You can dupe your whole inventory!

how do you do it with the protector case cuz it just drops and doesnt go into my hand when my friend picks it up

People need to stop releasing dupes, us dupers spend ages trying to find these glitches and it gets frustrating when they get patched and are released to the internet.

I understand if you are charging people for the method but not for free.

Why else is it for 0.54

I tried this with a weapon with no success, I put the gun in hand, started eating, Instead of dropping the weapon It put it back on my back? Help? Do I drop the gun whilst performing an action?

It's not working for me-
I have a gun on my back, and so does my friend. We have 3 guns total between the two of us.
So...
I have a gun on my back and one in my hand and then i begin eating.
The gun automatically drops to the ground and my friend selects 'Take X into hands'.
He now has the gun in his hands.
The eating animation finishes and i'm left with empty hands.

I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong but this doesn't seem to be working.
Any ideas?
