How many chin up or pull ups can you guys do?

    Pull ups: 0 YET
    Chin ups: 2

I started this few days back and it was really hard at first and I couldn't do shit at first but slowly I kept improving and know I can do 2 full chin ups, I test everyday if I can do pull ups but that is not happening. Still proud that I can do 2 chin ups already.

    22 pull ups.
    36 chin ups.

Make sure you go all the way down, no jumping either.

Does a chair count? I use a chair as a base because I cannot pull myself up for the first time. /

Yeah funny thing is I cannot do push ups either so right know I am using my knees as base, and building up arm strength.

A chair is much better than jumping up, because your legs pushed your body upwards, not your arms/back.

Push-ups aren't the best for arm strength. If you have the equipment available, curls are always good. It's not so much about getting the weight up, as it is letting the weight back down slowly to help build. Also, make sure to work out your forearms as well, no one wants to see bi's and tri's raging, while your forearms look like the only tone they get are from a masseuse.

    start with lifting weights?

:/ i started working out since i was young cause my dad allowed me to play games if i exercised so its easy for me but uh not really sure where to start, but i'd say lifting weights and slowly lifting heavier ones are the easiest for now?

If you are doing push ups to build arm strength you can't do 20 and expect progress, do like 10 sets of 10 or 5 every day with short breaks and you will notice that your chest is gonna be quite sore, and your shoulders most likely. For pull ups try to jump and lower your self down on the bar really slowly. Chin ups won't really help you much so focus on pull ups.
