Is editing memory with C++ safe?
Is writing a program to edit values of memory addresses and compiling it relatively safe - as long as i'm the only one using it? Or does vac detect it instantly? How do I know exactly how vac works so I don't get caught?

I read that it checks for hacks by searching for md5 hashes and comparing it against a database with md5 hashes of known hacks.

Also is using cheat engine just to search for values safe? Only in offline mode/custom games?
LOL

NOTHING is safe when you Editing the memory, the only safe way is only read memory,

and its impossible to make an "safe memory editing"

Notice i said relatively safe, such as not likely detectable by vac.

Also if a program can read the memory then it would be easy to make esp then right?
None of the above.

You should never edit anything in the .text section of a program or VAC will rekt you with those checksums.
If at all possible, edit the .data section which should be relatively safe.

Don't hook random APIs especially those of kernel32/user32/ntdll
What you can do it you read the adresses maybe from the entitys make a if script with a mouse event like if crosshair adress on enemy entity do mouseclickleft this is undetecable

Yea, they totally won't notice you calling keyboard events.
