Is ThirdPerson using iObserverMode still possible?
I am not sure if you can actually do it anymore, well whatever method I am using definitely wont let you do it. I am getting iObserverMode in Y3's Dumper in the netvars and it informs me it is 0x3360 away from LocalPlayer. That is what I have done here:

Code:
int* ThirdPerson = reinterpret_cast<int*>(*LocalPlayer + 0x3360);
*ThirdPerson = 1;
That does nothing and I can't tell why. When I read it using:

Code:
 int* info = reinterpret_cast<int*>(*LocalPlayer + 0x3360);
cout << *info
This outputs 0 even after I have used *ThirdPerson = 1

This is why I assume the method might have been patched. I could be completely wrong and doing something incorrectly but this is how I did it before (be it externally rather than internally). I have tested the offset and when I read it while spectating a bot it gives me a different number, 4-6 depending on the mode I am in. This means it has to be correct?

Just note I have written various numbers too it ranging from 1-6!
Why are you trying to implement thirdperson using iObserverMode internally?

I know what your here for anyway. Your going to give me some shitty line of code that uses the source SDK or something in assembly. Like I really don't care about that shit. I use this method because that's what I have researched and have found works. Why question me about a method that works?

Seriously I have only recently seen you on here and I don't like you, you just seem ignorant so I'd rather have help of other people thanks

He gave you a valid answer. What it sounds like to me is you are being lazy. Do it the proper way internally.

I think he just wants to try and learn things on his own. The fastest way can also be the best way. (not in this case though, m_iObserverMode is the worst way to do thirdperson)

As Epik said, maybe you've got to know all the copy pasta people on this forum. I have specifically designed my questions in such a way that helps me learn my mistakes and how things work.

At the moment I am doing internals without the SDK because I don't have a clue how it works or where to get it. I will find ways in my own times

Directly modifying the value of the address will work:
Code:
*reinterpret_cast<int*>(*LocalPlayer + 0x3360) = 1;

Ah I see I didn't make reinterpret cast a pointer! I will try and test this later thanks.

And yes you are right
I think you should try SDK thing. Usually all internals just paste things out of SDK.

I was with you beforem but im not with you now. I have no idea where you get that information.

I mean everyone who used SDK in past then pasted some classes out of it in his internal without SDK.
And as well SDK is most simple way to learn how to code internally.

There is a nice example on the web: https://github.com/MarkHC/CSGO-SDK-Exampleⓘ

exactly. Most SDK's use the same classes and therefore are very similar anyway's . @ Op look at the sdk example graff posted here it's pretty good for learning.
1 week has passed and no further replies have been made by the OP. Assuming solved.
