SolvedPlease help me if you know how a keylogger works!

Hey guys! I recently saw someone in Nexus saying "go to my realmeye and download this file! It's a free notifier!" I can't attach links, but his realmeye is "Vextris", you can easily google it

Now, thankfully, I'm not ultra stupid, but I'm pretty stupid. I've been keylogged in other games before, so I was 99% sure this was a keylogger, but I still opened it anyway, and ran it. I thought keyloggers worked by "logging your keys" that you pressed, so as long as I didn't logg in, it wouldn't hack me.... But it did. It also got all my mules, even though I haven't logged into them for so long. My guess is perhaps it's just a virus that went into my muledump and took my users / passwords from there?

Anyway. I need some help please! I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section, but after I got hacked, I:

1) Reformatted my harddrive (factory reset on windows 10, the one where it cleans all the hard drive and takes all night)
2) Changed my ROTMG password twice, once before and once after reformatting my harddrive
3) Changed password of my e-mail
4) Currently in process of changing my email, but DECA support takes a while.

My question: Am I in the clear? Can I start rebuilding, or can he still hack me? Also, can that keylogger / virus only get my RoTMG account or also my facebook, gmail etc? Thanks!

P.S. if you're the guy that hacked me, it's all good, just please dont hack me again, I learned my lesson

Edit: Btw, the hacker left me with all my SB items, and characters not suicided. Either he's not a complete dick, or he wants me to rebuild so he can hack me again. What do you guys think?

It's not a keylogger, and keyloggers aren't the only way that people can get your information.

Have you ever wondered why whenever you start the game again you automatically get logged in? That's because the game saves some files in your computer with your log-in details so it can automatically log-in again the next time you start the game.

Where is this file saved? Many places depending if you play from pservers or not.
But it can be found here So all he had to do was make a program that grabs that file -> makes it an attachement and e-mails it to himself.

you should also change all other accounts that used the same password though

Yes you are all set. And yes, he maby got you facebook etc. It can also be a RAT and no keyloger. If then he might have:
- All your passwords from your browser.
- Keyloggs.
- Even your data like images etc.
- Your webcam and desktop Etc.
And mutch more.

I examined the file that realmeye user had uploaded and it's only a sol stealer.
After all, rotmg is a bunch of skids, they don't even know what a RAT is.
