HELP!!!!!!

hey guys, really need help! like a week ago, i started up my laptop and accidentally smacked the keyboard. I heard this wierd sound like uhhhhhh-eh uhhhhhhhh-eh then everthing stopped responding and i had to force restart... then whenever i reboot (and at that time( i get the strange sound for a few secs and the mesage: PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cabel. PXE-M0F: exiting broadcom PXE ROM. No bootable device --- insert bootdisk and press any key. i checked on bios on the startup menu thing and i dont have a harddrive on that list, i looked on the first page and i see HDD Model : None, i really wanna fix this cos ii need to print and shit for school. Toshiba TM80 Win 7 64x

Never smack your Laptop... Smack the person next to it...

By smaking your Laptop's keyboard, you damaged/disconnected a part of it... Your lucky it even boots...

Go and buy a soldering iron because you will probably need one for this, get some thin solder but get some that is also heavy duty.

When you have done this, take the screws out of your laptop and take the entire back panel off, being careful to put the screws somewhere safe as you do so.

Then when you have done this, you will need to remove the metal plating around the motherboard. Once again, carefully take the screws out and put them somewhere safe but don't get them mixed up with the case screws.

When everything is off, you should be staring at your motherboard with everything on it.

You need to identify any loose components such as resistors, capacitors, wires etc.

Turn your soldering iron on and wait for it to get hot.

Finally, proceed to carefully (AND I MEAN CAREFULLY) solder each wire and component back into place. Once this is done then you should put the metal plating back on and then the case for the laptop.

This should solve your problem for you, I hope this helped.
